Slander Returns to Red Rocks: Thrive Tour!

Slander, the legendary melodic bass duo, is returning to Red Rocks for a wild two-day event, November 9 and 10 as part of their Thrive tour! This comeback has been anticipated since the duo's last visit on July 27, 2021, to the Red Rocks Amphitheater, where they debuted their spectacular Eye Stage. Slander's combination of intense dubstep drops and emotive vocals has gained them a large fan base. They have had a massive impact on the EDM community.

Slanders Eye Stage

For more than ten years, the duo of Derek Anderson and Scott Land has had a tremendous ascent in the edm industry.

The Los Angeles, California-based duo got their start as local neighborhood DJs. They became popular thanks to their remix of the Showtek song "We Like to Party". In 2014 the remix saw more than 12 million views on YouTube. Soon after, they released a remix of Above & Beyond's "Love is Not Enough," with Nghtmre, which catapulted them to fame in the EDM scene.

Slander and Nghtmare teamed up again and released "Gud Vibrations," in 2016, which has surpassed over 57 million streams on Spotify! Slander has gone on to perform at iconic venues and festivals around the world, including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, and Bonnaroo. Red Rocks is in for a treat!

Slander’s independently released music has always had a combination of stunning vocals and melodic bass. The Dylan Matthews song "Love is Gone" has received 289 million Spotify plays since it was released. Their dubstep and melodic bass drops combine to produce an intense emotion which deeply connects listeners to their music. One moment you want to cry, the next you want to headbang. They have worked on a number of songs with huge artists in the scene that are unquestionably fan favorites, including "Miss You" with Ganja White Night, "First Time" with Seven Lions & Dabin, "Your Fault" with Excision, and "Gravity" with Subtronics, to mention a few. Slander's ability to blend powerful dubstep and bass into their live performances is one of their many outstanding qualities as producers and DJs.

This Red Rocks performance is one that you do not want to miss. The lineup for both days is jam-packed with outstanding artists, who all have songs released on Slander's Gud Vibration Label. Saka, Leotrix, and Moore Kismet, and Kompany as support on Wednesday. We have Nitepunk, Leotrix, Dimension, and special guest Eptic on night two. Slander’s Red Rocks two-day performance will be one for the books. With this combination of openers playing experimental bass, dubstep, and melodic bass, you will want to be there at doors! Expect to headbang, cry, laugh, dance, and feel the Gud vibes when Slander plays this Wednesday and Thursday. The level of production will be amazing and hopefully we will be serenaded with live vocals for some of Slander’s hits, for an even more emotional experience!
